CORPORATE TREASURY

Corporate Treasury division manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet and capital to maximize net interest income and return on equity through liability planning and execution, financial resource allocation, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio management. 

Corporate Treasury Operations (CTO) is a pillar within the Corporate Treasury division. CTO leads the development of new payments-centric businesses, build scale and improve agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape while managing and optimizing the firm’s liquidity.  This team acts as a first line of defense for control and governance to protect the firm’s financial assets.  By incorporating differentiated client service, CTO aims to be best in class.

Corporate Treasury Operations has regional presence in Salt Lake City, Dallas, New York, London, Warsaw, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Tokyo, Singapore, Frankfurt, and many other offices.

YOUR IMPACT

You are an experienced operations leader looking to join a fast-paced, dynamic team with broad connectivity across the firm and accountability for franchise-critical payment controls. This Vice President role requires deep payments domain knowledge, strong risk management judgment, and the ability to lead teams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive complex projects across sanctions screening, payment controls, and cash movement processes. You will collaborate with cross-Federation teams globally to strengthen the firm’s control environment while enabling safe, timely, and efficient execution of cash payments and receipts.

This team act as a first line of defense for control and governance to protect firm’s financial assets. Corporate Treasury Operations provides payment processing, liquidity, cash management and bank relationship management services for our institutional, retail, and corporate clients as well as firmwide flows

The subdivision has a rare opportunity to support products and business ranging from foreign exchange, commodities, credit, equity, interest rates, Repo, insurance/pensions and bespoke structured derivatives and arrangements. We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around derivative and security products, funding projections, cash management, margin risk management, counterparty exposure management and their respective business areas, legal agreements, technology flows and regulations.

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Lead and manage teams responsible for cash payments, receipts, sanctions screening, fraud controls, and related payment control functions.
  • Provide senior oversight of payment controls, including sanctions screening, sanctions tuning, exception management, and escalation of high-risk payment activity.
  • Partner closely with Compliance, AML, Legal, Engineering, Operations, agent banks, central banks, and business stakeholders to resolve complex payment, credit, fraud, and sanctions risk matters.
  • Apply strong payments domain expertise across SWIFT, Fedwire, ISO messaging, and other global payment rails to strengthen operational resiliency and control design.
  • Drive strategic projects and change management initiatives across sanctions screening, payment modernization, control enhancements, process automation, and vendor platform optimization.
  • Exercise strong risk management judgment to identify control gaps, define remediation plans, and ensure timely execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of the firm’s books and records while ensuring adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal control expectations.
  • Develop talent, provide coaching, build accountability, and foster a high-performing team culture focused on risk excellence, execution discipline, and continuous improvement.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10–15 years of relevant experience in financial services, operations management, payments, treasury operations, or risk and controls.
  • Proven people management experience, including leading teams, developing talent, setting direction, and driving performance in a complex operating environment.
  • Strong risk management, control mindset, and ability to identify, assess, escalate, and remediate payment, credit, fraud, sanctions, and operational risks.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, AML, Legal, Engineering, business teams, vendors, and banking partners.
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience driving cross-functional initiatives, control enhancements, regulatory remediation, process optimization, and technology change.
  • Deep expertise in sanctions screening, sanctions tuning, payment exception review, alert disposition, and application of sanctions-related procedures and controls.
  • Strong knowledge of payments domain concepts, including cash payments, receipts, payment lifecycle, payment investigations, settlement flows, and front-to-back operational processes.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SWIFT, Fedwire, ISO payment messaging formats, and various global payment rails.
  • Experience using or overseeing sanctions and fraud risk detection platforms, including Fircosoft, Actimize, or similar vendor applications.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills with the ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive payment environment.
