GLOBAL BANKING & MARKETS 

We make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

OPERATIONS 

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted function that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking a highly driven and meticulous individual to join our Control function within Transaction Banking. In this pivotal role, you will directly contribute to strengthening our operational resilience by identifying control gaps, executing critical reconciliations, and performing rigorous Internal Quality Assurance. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Execute timely and precise reconciliations across complex data sets to proactively identify and mitigate potential discrepancies.
  • Support investigations and drive the resolution of identified breaks, collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the identification, evaluation, and implementation of automation initiatives to enhance control efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the performance of existing controls, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Partner with the Global Control team to ensure seamless 'follow-the-sun' operational coverage and efficient issue escalation.

     

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1+ years of professional in a relevant financial services or operations control environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail and a strong control mentality.
  • Proficiency in Excel and proven capability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strong risk management and control mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating operational risks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across various functions and levels.
