Private Wealth Management (PWM) secures, develops and manages relationships with high net worth individuals, their families, family offices and foundations. PWM assists clients with building and preserving their financial wealth by creating and implementing long-term asset allocation within the context of each client’s particular risk tolerance, and by providing access to innovative investment ideas and opportunities. PWM professionals develop customized investment strategies and offer a full array of wealth management products and services, including private banking and trust company services.
YOUR IMPACT
As the Vice President of PWM Sales Management in Continental Europe, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth, efficiency, and strategic direction of our sales organization within the region. This position focuses on sales enablement, advisor coaching, business development strategy, and the optimization of sales processes and technology (including CRM and AI-driven workflows). You will partner closely with PWM regional leadership, Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs), and cross-divisional teams (including Asset Management, Investment Banking, and Technology) to accelerate client acquisition, enhance advisor productivity, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Enablement
- Drive Growth Initiatives: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to accelerate asset gathering, client acquisition, and market share expansion across regional offices.
- CRM & Tool Optimization: Partner with Sales Enablement and Engineering teams to design, implement, and continuously improve CRM workflows, pipeline management tools, and AI-powered prospecting capabilities.
- Performance Analytics: Collaborate with quantitative strategists and data teams to analyze sales metrics, identify productivity gaps, and deliver actionable insights to sales leadership focused on Continental Europe.
2. Advisor Coaching & Support
- PWA Enablement: Act as a strategic coach to new and early stage Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and Business Development Professionals (BDPs), ensuring their continuous development towards successful advisors.
- Best Practice Sharing: Facilitate forums and workshops to share successful sales strategies, client engagement techniques, and market insights across advisor teams.
3. Client Acquisition & Referrals
- Pipeline Management: Support and drive accountability of pipeline by liaising with team leaders and regional sales leadership to monitor and track pipeline progress
- Prospecting & Onboarding: Coordinate prospecting allocation between PWAs as well as drive prioritisation of account onboarding through objective review
- Referrals: Direct cross-border client referrals coming into Continental Europe.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
- Suitability & Oversight: Ensure all sales activities, marketing materials, and advisor communications adhere to strict regulatory standards and internal compliance policies.
- Supervisory Controls: Monitor sales practices and pipeline activities to mitigate operational, reputational, and regulatory risks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree (MBA) or professional designation (CFA, CFP) is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services sales, or sales management.
- European languages (Italian, German and / or French)
- Proven track record of coaching, and motivating high-performing sales or advisory teams.
- Deep familiarity with CRM platforms and modern sales enablement technology, including AI.
- Strong understanding of the UHNW landscape
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and advisors.
- Ability to synthesize complex sales data into clear, actionable business strategies.
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Milan, Lombardia, Italy-based position is 80000-220000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
