YOUR IMPACT

The role is for a Legal professional to join the Legal Division with the Goldman Sachs EMEA Corporate Governance Legal Team. The team comprises a team of professionals based in London, Birmingham, Frankfurt and The Hague.

Your primary focus will be the corporate administration and advice of regulated and unregulated legal entities throughout Continental Europe, with a focus on certain entities operating under the asset management division, including in The Netherlands. The role requires the ability to manage a diverse and complex workload meeting tight deadlines across the various entities you responsibility.  As such you will work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders and support professionals within the Corporate Governance Legal Team in a dynamic and constantly evolving business environment.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCES / COMPETENCIES

  • We are targeting a Legal professional with 3-5 years’ experience either in a law firm or as part of an in house legal team in an asset manager, corporate service provider or a financial institution.
  • The work will involve exposure to various businesses and stakeholders and requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude, respectful and able to build relationships
  • Strong organisation skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams, think proactively about what needs to be done, meet deadlines and manage stakeholders
  • European cross-border experience is helpful
  • Excellent English language skills are required
