Division/Role Description
Asset Management brings together traditional and alternative investments to provide clients with long-term performance. The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst supports investment-level analytics, valuation review, and financial modeling across real estate assets, partnering closely with asset managers and operating partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing a deep understanding of the exposures and associated risks across the book
- Review and obtain approval for monthly drawdowns on construction loans
- Track performance metrics and ensure compliance on operating loans
- Review and obtain approval for new leasing requests across the secured collateral
- Responsibilities also include covenant tracking, loan cashflow updates, valuation model updates, preparation of quarterly / annual business plans
- Coordinate with global teams and provide feedback on process and technology enhancements support
- Experience in cash flow modeling/forecasting in conjunction with the use of market sale and rent comps to determine real estate values across a variety of property types: multifamily, hospitality, retail, industrial, office, self-storage, student housing, senior living, etc.
- Prepare and update monthly reporting packages for management and clients
- Assist in communication of loan performance to Limited Partners within respective funds
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Finance, Business, or other applicable field and have an excellent academic and professional record
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance role, Loan Asset Management experience preferred
- Highly motivated with potential to develop in a challenging role
- Detail oriented and with a strong sense of ownership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English
- A proactive team player with a strong sense of urgency, responsibility and ability to influence
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with strong skills in Excel and Power point
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure alone and in a team with a positive, hands-on, proactive attitude
