The Corporate and Workplace Solutions Division (CWS) is comprised of Corporate and Workplace Solutions and the Office of Global Security. Our team focuses on commercial management, client support, advisory solutions, strategic planning, risk management, people security, real estate strategy and the enablement of collaboration and productivity tools across the firm.
The Office of Global Security (OGS) EMEA Crisis Manager will be forward-thinking, innovative, and help lead - as well as deliver - continuous improvement of OGS’ crisis management program.

Office of Global Security: Our mission is to protect the people, assets and reputation of Goldman Sachs.
To ensure a safe and secure environment we assess risk to:
- Enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols;
- Lead crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Oversee the day to day running of the EMEA Crisis Management Center (CMC) and ensure the CMC is equipped with tools, SOPs and team members to effectively monitor, escalate and respond to incidents which may present a risk to our people and/ or the normal operation of our offices.
- Direct the recruitment, training and oversight of all CMC staff, and the testing, maintenance and attestation of the crisis tools used to support the crisis management program.
- Provide ongoing support to OGS leadership during a crisis event, including receiving out-of-hours escalations to triage and respond to relevant incidents until resolution.
- Lead on the drafting and dissemination of crisis response communications, collaborating with other crisis responders where appropriate.
- Manage the EMEA Travel Risk Programme, including the writing and coordination of geo-political security briefs.
- Act as the liaison link with 2nd line risk stakeholders to deliver a coordinated regional resilience drilling program.
- Contribute to the ongoing identification and implementation of enhancements to the crisis management process, including structure, tools, data, procedures and people.
- Support the collection, visualization and analysis of CMC data to understand risk and performance, and facilitate data driven decision making.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Candidate must have a proven ability to operate under stress in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards.
- Candidate must have sound judgement and decision making abilities with proven leadership/ team building skills.
- Strong understanding of and interest in global affairs, particularly relating to the EMEA region.
- Skills in collating, interrogating, and visualising data to identify insight and inform decision making, including proficiency in OSINT for physical security threat intelligence and investigations.
- Candididate must have excellent interpersonal skills to develop credible relationships with internal and external partners.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
