Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Vice President in Cloud Platform ClientOps (Warsaw, EMEA), you will own the regional delivery outcomes for the ClientOps engagement model that connects Cloud Platform capabilities (including FinOps Engineering and RiskOps) to engineering Business Units (BUs). You will lead structured operating rhythms, stakeholder communications, and evidence-focused reporting that improves cloud operational transparency, strengthens controls, and accelerates adoption of firmwide standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong cloud platform fluency, disciplined execution, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement and Operating Rhythm
    • Engage BUs through the ClientOps model to plan, track, and evidence operational initiatives across Cloud Platform focus areas, aligning stakeholders to clear milestones and outcomes.
    • Drive structured reviews with stakeholders to ensure actions are completed, outcomes are measurable, and learnings are captured.

  • Governance, Reporting, and Evidence
    • Partner with SRE/resiliency stakeholders to translate reliability concerns into measurable operational actions, aligned to the existing focus on resiliency requirements and structured stakeholder reviews.
    • Operationalize outage learnings by ensuring post‑event actions are tracked to completion through the ClientOps engagement model, consistent with the documents’ emphasis on tracking remediation plans, documenting decisions, and capturing learnings.
    • Strengthen incident evidence and auditability by defining expectations for incident-related documentation (for example, runbooks, change documentation, and telemetry expectations), aligning to the documents’ lifecycle evidence and operational rigor standards.
    • Partner with Engineering, Risk, and other control stakeholders to ensure operational activities align to firmwide expectations.

  • Improve lifecycle transparency and reduce operational risk through consistent engagement, measurable outcomes, and repeatable operating mechanisms.
  • Influence adoption through strong credibility: documented patterns, templates, and self-service experiences.
  • Raise standards for maintainability, observability, and resilience in how operational outcomes are communicated and evidenced.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated progression in driving complex initiatives across teams in enterprise environments through clear communication, strong execution, and stakeholder influence.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and core services for compute, storage, and networking.
  • Experience deploying applications to the cloud using CI/CD pipelines, containers, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Working knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization to support reliable production operations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including stakeholder-facing documentation and structured status narratives.
  • Strong cloud platform fluency and understanding of operational requirements for safety, security, and resilience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and infrastructure-as-code tooling (such as CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, or Kubernetes).
  • Experience with designing safe, resilient and highly-available cloud native services, and translating operational signals into governance reporting.
