What You'll Do

Develop backend applications with due consideration to security, design, validation and SDLC framework

Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.

Leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services to build, deploy, and manage scalable, resilient, and cost-effective microservices and serverless architectures.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle, including processes, tools, and automation.

Engage in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and production incidents in a timely and efficient manner.

Ability to leverage technology to deliver business value

 

Relevant Technologies: Java, Spring-boot, Restful Web Services, AWS, Apache Kafka

 

Must-Have Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• 1+ years of experience using Java and Messaging queues (Kafka).
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework for building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform, including familiarity with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
• 1+ years of experience with Data structures, time and space complexity, object-oriented design and handling multi-threaded systems.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum / Kanban)
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with subject matter experts to extract critical business concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Good-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with development and design of distributed systems
• Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
• Working with Relational Databases, such as Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, and DB2
