YOUR IMPACT
Goldman Sachs Data Aggregation is in search of a Vice President to lead strategic initiatives focused on optimizing data processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring robust data quality and consistency across data aggregation and family office services offered within Private Wealth Management. This role will be critical in engaging with external vendors, overseeing throughput and resource allocation, and building out the team's footprint and expertise. The Vice President will play a pivotal role in mitigating risks, identifying and implementing process efficiencies, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and innovation.

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond. Data Aggregation works in coordination with Private Wealth Advisors to provide robust, accurate, and timely data insights, supporting a full suite of wealth planning and family office services.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Strategic Vendor Engagement: Engage with external vendors to evaluate, onboard, and manage relationships, ensuring optimal service delivery
- Operational Oversight & Resourcing: Oversee team throughput, resource allocation, and project prioritization to ensure efficient delivery of data aggregation services and initiatives.
- Team Development & Expertise: Build out the team's footprint and expertise through talent acquisition, mentorship, and continuous professional development, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and data-related risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in collaboration with Legal and Compliance teams.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiencies, streamline data aggregation processes, and reduce manual effort.
- Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Wealth Management, providing regular updates, gathering requirements, and ensuring strategic alignment of data initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams to define requirements, resolve issues, and ensure seamless integration and delivery of data solutions.
- Standardization & Consistency: Drive initiatives to centralize and streamline data aggregation workflows and methodologies, improving data consistency, quality, and reliability across the platform.
- Innovation & Technology Adoption: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and aggregation, evaluating and recommending solutions to enhance capabilities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on data management, operations, or technology, including leadership or management experience.
- Proven experience in operational oversight, and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory compliance within financial data.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency with data aggregation tools, database concepts, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
