Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS CDK, Terraform, CI/CD automation, YAML-based configuration management, and Linux systems. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across all environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

•              Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK and Terraform.

•              Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

•              Manage and maintain YAML-based configuration, including Kubernetes manifests, GitOps repos, pipeline configurations, and application deployment files.

•              Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based systems and environments.

•              Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools.

•              Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment reliability.

•              Ensure cloud security, cost optimization, and operational excellence following best practices.

•              Automate routine tasks using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.

•              Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration tools (EKS/Kubernetes preferred).

 

Required Skills & Experience

•              1-3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.

•              Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, Lambda, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation).

•              Proficiency in Terraform and AWS CDK for IaC development.

•              Experience creating and managing YAML configurations (CI/CD pipelines, K8s, config files).

•              Solid understanding of Linux administration ( Amazon Linux, RHEL).

•              Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD concepts, branching strategies, and version control (Git).

•              Strong scripting skills: Shell, Bash, or Python.

•              Experience with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS.

•              Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools.

•              Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, VPC routing, security groups).
