JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The AWM, Fundamental Equities, China Equity Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join as an associate. Working closely with the Senior Investors in the team, the goal of the Associate is to:

Build strong industry knowledge of the Consumer, Internet, Media, Communication Services sectors.
Interpret a broad range of data (macro and micro) and perform analysis on market and industry trends.
Develop, maintain, and update detailed financial models and perform valuation analysis.
Contribute to the generation and execution of investment ideas.
Monitor industry and corporate development closely.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic track record
3+ years of experience in sell-/buy-side covering relevant sectors
Excellent analytical skills
Solid understanding of financial statements, financial models and valuation methodologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in Mandarin
Proficiency in Excel, and other market tools (Bloomberg, etc.)
Attention to detail
Strong team orientation
