Your impact

Controllers are a diverse team of specialists charged with ensuring the firm meets the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. The Compensation Accounting team sit within the Controllers group and manage the monthly payroll validation and bookings for all local Latin America Region into the firm’s general ledger, whilst reconciling all payroll clearance accounts. The team also has responsibility for completing detailed variance and control checks and analysis per the Firm’s Sarbanes Oxley and other control measures.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an analyst for the Compensation Accounting department with experience in Payroll processes to perform administrative tasks related to payroll routines and accounting within the Controllers.

Being part of the Compensation Accounting, you will:

  • Handle hiring, vacation and termination processes;
  • Outbound/Inbound of payroll processes and payments;
  • Organizing and updating standard operational procedures;
  • Providing administrative support to the department’s routines;
  • Initial analyzes of accounting for payroll processes.

Skills & Experience we’re looking for:

  • Brazilian tax residence;
  • Bachelor´s Degree or above in Accounting, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Database Analytics / IT or related fields;
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish;
  • Work experience in financial institutions, consulting firms (Big Four) on payroll processes will be considered a differential;  
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel);
  • Aptitude for programming and automation;
  • Strong numerical, communication and organizational skills;
  • Interest in Accounting and Operational HR activities;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
