RESPONSIBILITIES
Software engineers primarily focus on software design and development. This is meant to cover most programming positions in Engineering, and include positions that were previously considered business software engineers, platform engineers, and quality assurance engineers. Combine the best open source software, databases, cloud solutions, and programming languages, to solve problems and provide accurate, complex, scalable applications that help our business and clients gain new insights.
As a software engineering analyst, you are the change agents that transform Goldman Sachs by applying your technical and analytical know-how. Be a part of our Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) engineering team under the Goldman Sach compliance division. Collaborate with Compliance stakeholders, data team, engineering teams and others, to analyze, design and document technology requirements, data pipelines, cross-technology organization dependencies and be part of software engineering solutions across firm’s financial crimes compliance engineering.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a similar field of study.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with complex systems analysis, data flow architecture and design and non-functional technology requirements documentation.
- Experience working with enterprise software development teams in a agile engineering environment.
- Strong computer science fundamentals for data management and technology standards for non-functional requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a global team.
