Transaction Banking

We aim to build a modern and digital-first cash management solution to serve our clients. Our business combines the strength, heritage, and expertise of a 150-year-old firm with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a tech start-up. Our goal is to provide a best-in-class digital product that helps clients to succeed by giving them a holistic view of their business. Through the use of modern technology built on the cloud, we are the alternative to legacy platforms. We’re a team of diverse experts helping our clients to build the future of their Treasury.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced design leader to lead the design practice and strategy for our Transaction Banking digital product ecosystem – a mixture of our Client facing Web, Mobile and API channels, tool leveraged by our Sales and Client Service teams and complex internal financial systems our bankers rely on every day.

This role will play a pivotal role in driving business impact through design advocacy, strategy, vision, and education across all our teams and products in TxB. They will bring a design lens to business conversations, and help the organization interpret how and why a design decision can impact the business.

The ideal candidate for this role knows how to think big and start small – both understanding how to lead the design team to a thoughtful north star, but also how to lead our product teams through a phased approach. You are someone who can articulate the difference between a design concept and a design system, Interaction Design vs. Service Design vs. Visual Design, and can effectively communicate those distinctions across the organization, senior to junior.

Mostly, you genuinely care about creating thoughtful, modern digital products for our diverse set of internal and external Users. You hold a high bar for quality, and you foster an inclusive and intentional design environment that drives growth to the business and the design team members.
