The Corporate Communications team in the Executive Office is seeking a highly motivated administrative assistant to support business management functions for our team. The role requires exceptional prioritization, organization and collaboration skills. Previous experience in business administration and management and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide business administration support in a team environment
- Manage vendor onboarding, bill payment and offboarding to ensure all related tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding for a small team
- Work with international administration to oversee a large number of team news subscriptions
- Assist with preparing a monthly budget report by downloading data and organizing it into Excel and basic PowerPoint slides, and assist with tracking spending throughout the year
- Ensure calls to the press office are answered during normal business hours. Interact with news reporters and high-level business leaders in a professional and effective manner
- Assist with calendar management support
- Be available for overtime work on occasion, in particular during budget season
- Maintain understanding of firm expenses, client entertainment, news subscriptions and attendance policies.
- Book rooms and locations for meetings and events, ensuring all logistical planning details are addressed
- Order supplies and keeps inventory well-stocked.
- Contribute to planning and staffing team events

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $70000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
