BUSINESS SEGMENT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

Equities & FICC: We make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

The Systematic Trading Strategies (STS) platform is cross asset and global offering investment solutions to clients of all types. 

The team is looking to hire someone to help accelerate the growth of the business specifically focused on hedge Fund clients by directly participating in the execution of the strategic business plan both from a marketing standpoint and from a trade execution perspective. This role, therefore, requires a candidate who is able to balance strong technical capabilities with a good commercial acumen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on marketing pitches and tactical content on our range of straetgies
  • Work on trade execution
  • Preparation of marketing content including emails and brief marketing materials / powerpoint slides.
  • Engaging with sales and clients on the offering, and working in partnership with sales to help originate new business. 
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions to increase efficiency within the platform and the team’s day to day to accelerate time to market of each trade
  • Post trade client support 
  • Build tools (e.g. Excel, python) to help the team manage more effectively its business metrics, origination pipeline, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a sales, structuring or trading, preferably in QIS
  • Strong project manager who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Demonstrated ability to code
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
