The Mexico Fixed Income Settlements team is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the risk undertaken by the local broker dealer in the bonds market, by ensuring the timely and accurate booking, confirmation, matching and settlement of all local bonds transactions at Indeval. This involves the review and tracking of client confirmations, front-to-back reconciliations, regulatory reports submission, as well as providing support to trading and sales desks.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Local bonds settlement monitoring at Indeval;
  • Trade allocation and confirmation;
  • Resolution of issues/disputes with counterparts;
  • Elaborate and send regulatory reports to Banxico;
  • Front-to-back trade and position reconciliation;
  • Breaks investigation;
  • Partner with IT, Sales and Trading on systems and process enhancements and development;
  • Collect and analyze data to guide decision-making and to drive improvement.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent English both written and spoken (mandatory).

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • 3+ years relevant work experience.

 

Desired:

  • Knowledge of equities market.
