Your Impact

Looking for an excellent Terraform + Typescript developer (1 to 3 years of experience ) to join IBE CloudOps team. The engineer will be responsible for making sure the infrastructure is safe and qualified for its purpose. Candidate will also have to work with developers and delivery teams and help them set the right vision and strategy. Candidate will be a member of the IBE Cloud Team responsible for developing, managing, and implementing cloud Infrastructure as Code framework (IaC) for the IBE + DLA engineering group predominantly using AWS and Terraform. 

 

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions 

• Design and implement self-service cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform & TypeScript, create efficient delivery pipelines, log and monitoring services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management processes to monitor, fix, and improve cloud infrastructure continuously.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and reliable by troubleshooting & thoroughly examining to address operational issues operational issues related to the cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud initiatives and understand user requirements to implement technical solutions.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and perform necessary maintenance to improve the flexibility of products and speed of delivery.
• Document infrastructure designs and processes, design and develop AWS Cloud Features.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance. Consistently repair, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure. 
• Interact with technical leads and architects to discover solutions that help solve challenges faced by Product Engineering teams.
• Be part of an enriching team and solve real Production engineering challenges.
• Continuously improve knowledge in the areas of DevOps & Cloud Engineering by using enterprise tools and contributing to projects success.

 

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in cloud engineering with particular focus on AWS cloud platform is essential.
• AWS Cloud and Hashicorp Terraform certification is preferred. 
• Proficiency with cloud based DevOPS practices with specific tools such as Terraform and Typescript is essential. 
• Must be well-versed with scripting languages: Python, Shell scripting /Powershell
• Expertise in continuous integration and deployment automation. Experience in working on GIT , CICD Pipeline implementation in Gitlab and Automation of terraform based cloud deployments.
• Demonstrated experience with IaC, automated single-click GITLAB deployment, configuration management, production support.
• Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Expertise on container-based deployments. Good understanding on working with containers using EKS.
• Understanding on cloud observability tools like (Datadog, Dynatrace Opentelemetry , Kibana  etc..,)
• Java coding skill is Good to have 
• Strong understanding of cloud security and network best practices.
