HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
We’re looking for an Associate to be part of our best-in-class Service Team in Dallas within the Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions business line.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for handling daily inbound and outbound email activities and operational tasks related to the RIA Custody line of business, including transaction processing, money movements, account opening and account maintenance support, and general service-related information. Through outstanding client service and problem solving, you will build meaningful relationships with various members of the advisory firms. You will help drive service strategy across the department.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and their clients by handling daily inbound and outbound email activities and operational tasks via Salesforce
- You will assist in handling outbound calls
- Demonstrate strong industry and operational expertise over assigned business segment, such as investment and banking products and services.
- Ability to deliver detailed responses to questions, offering alternatives and ensuring an excellent client experience.
- You will assist in the development, implementation and management of procedural changes and provide operational and business support to diverse teams.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand internal risk with external needs while remaining an advocate of the voice of the client, resulting in win-win outcomes.
- Ability to handle complex client inquiries such as assisting Third Party Data Aggregators with integrations related questions pertaining to account data that is delivered to them, or communicating account offboarding processes and procedures with account beneficiaries.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Maintains a high degree of creativity and independence in projects and problem solving.
- Passion for service, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong client focus.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, and clients.
- Effective critical thinking through probing questions to identify solutions in unique situations, while demonstrating sound business judgement.
- Ability to demonstrate a technical aptitude by quickly assimilating technical concepts and new technology.
- Proven experience analyzing operational workflows and writing policies and procedures
- Ability to recognize process inefficiency and recommend improvement opportunity
- Ability to take the initiative and prioritize tasks, good time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills including word processing, spreadsheet capabilities and the ability to support our clients as they utilize our web-based products
Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ client service experience, preferably in financial services, retail brokerage or at an investment advisory firm.
- Salesforce experience
