Role Responsibilities
- Develop unified global cross-asset derivatives quoting platform with electronic and client connectivity
- Deliver high regulatory and controls framework to ensure our compliance with regulatory standards in high frequency trading applications
- Integrate with external platforms and clients using industry standard protocols such as FIX and REST
- Build rich, high-throughput and performance-sensitive user applications using the latest web and server side technologies such as React/Java
- Use both open source and internal proprietary technologies to build cutting edge platforms
- Work closely with sales and trading to deliver innovative solutions to automate their manual workflows
- Be part of the vibrant global derivatives engineering team and use your engineering skills to impact business decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Excellent academic record in a relevant technical field such as computer science, physics, mathematics or engineering
- Strong programming skills in an object orientated or functional paradigm such as Java, C#, Python or JavaScript
- Entrepreneurial individual with self-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and interact with global stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems modelling complex and electronic workflows in finance
- Previous technical role working on or with a derivatives trading desk (irrespective of asset class)
