Our Municipal & Corporate Debt Syndicate Execution team is looking for a high performing Snr Analyst / Associate that is looking to be challenged and get an opportunity to support the Investment Banking organization.

For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.
The NY Municipal / Corporate Syndicate Execution team is responsible for providing a full suite of deal execution and control functions in support of financing transactions originated by the Public Sector & Infrastructure and the Debt Capital Markets Banking deal teams. Responsibilities will include learning daily functions, establishing strong relationships with the business, and participating in key industrialization initiatives.
HOW YOU WILL FULLFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Partner closely with the PSI, Investment Grade & Leveraged Finance Syndicate Desks and various stakeholders to provide full deal execution support for deal pricing
- Deal structuring & set up
- Deal communication
- Order Book monitoring
- Account/Product set up
- Allocation & Trade Booking
- PnL Reporting
- Regulatory Reporting
- Position management
- Learn from the business directly and help produce market analytics for the desk
- Respond to a changing and dynamic environment while maintaining integrity in our core ideologies of risk management, control and client service
- Participate in IB Operations initiatives to drive business unit strategy forward
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to effectively and extensively interact with all levels (from entry level analysts through managing directors) and different personalities
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think critically and creatively about process improvement to ensure we are adapting to meet the needs of the business and the firm
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter (i.e. after initial managerial direction, candidate is able to develop their own workflow and manage resources accordingly.)
- Time Management
- Solid understanding of primary and secondary debt security markets. Understanding of the municipal market a plus.
- Proven process re-engineering skills
- Effective analytical ability
- Undergraduate degree
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $80000-$135000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
