ASSET & WEALTH MANAGEMENT

Our teams are involved in various investment opportunities encompassing corporate equity, growth equity, infrastructure, impact funds etc.  Our Private Equity team seeks long-term capital appreciation by committing equity to high quality companies with strong management.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the deal lifecycle. Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and liaising with target company management teams and founders 
  • Developing investment theses 
  • Researching and assessing domestic & global markets 
  • Building financial investment models
  • Coordinating w/ offshore GS domain experts, 3rd party diligence advisors, and investment banks 
  • Presenting in investment committee 
  • Participating in deal structuring and investment documentation 
  • Managing and monitoring portfolio companies post investment
  • Supporting portfolio companies in strategic and operational projects including M&A, capital raising, asset sales, and budgeting 

Qualifications

Highly motivated team player to be integrally involved in all aspects of private equity investing. The ideal candidate has passion & curiosity about investing, as well as strong accounting/finance and business assessment skills.

Other criteria include: 

  • 1-3 years investment banking, and/or private equity investing experience 
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic 
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Demonstrated proactiveness and ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Strong technical skills in financial analysis, research, financial model building
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders 
  • Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
  • Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
  • Close attention to detail 
  • Excellent English and Mandarin
