Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) ACF manages capital raising and strategy for alternatives investments across the full spectrum of alternatives. Within ACF, team members work within product verticals and collaborate across strategies to identify portfolio-wide solutions. They also partner with other teams within ACF, and across CSG, investing teams and wealth management teams. This specific role sits with ACF Private Credit, and the Asset Backed Finance (ABF) and Investment Grade Private Credit (IGPC) vertical.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Principal Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across firm, define strategic direction of the platform, product development, create and execute go-to-market strategies, engage sales and their clients
- Thrive in a teamwork culture
- Prioritize and manage workflow in context of multiple competing priorities
- Understanding of structured product markets and capital structures
- Ability to run a meeting. Create and present investor materials, including marketing presentations, performance and data analysis, update calls
- Partnership with sales, comfort working with sales to further develop the relationship and effectively deliver ABF and IGPC to clients
- Go to market strategies – define target clients, associated product needs, develop and execute outreach plan
- Run client process: ability to engage investors from first meeting, due diligence inquiries and investment in the strategy. Then manage lifecycle of the investment including regular portfolio updates, ongoing investor requests and ad hoc client projects
- Help complete due diligence questionnaires, recurring client/consultant questionnaires
- Utilize intelligence gained from investor inquiry to thoughtfully construct investor materials and effectively distribute the fund / vehicles
- Coordinate closely with investment team and other internal stakeholders such as legal, risk management, operations, compliance, controllers and tax in order to effectively respond to inbound investor requests and inquiries
- Respond to questions internally from senior management and sales channels (private wealth, institutional, third-party distribution) related to the platform
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a similar or related role, previous experience in Investment Banking, Markets or Investing also applicable
- Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated
- Strong interest in private markets with understanding of structured products
- Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Attention to detail—proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
