Responsibilities: 

  • An exciting opportunity for a UI engineer for a UI product to be used by a large userbase.
  • Experience with modern Javascript frameworks like React (and proficient with HTML5, CSS, REST APIs, JSON)
  • Experience with automated UI testing with testing frameworks like Cypress.
  • A keen interest in UX and UI-design. 
  • Ability to debug UI related issues and performance test with tools like Lighthouse.
  • Excellent communication required to work in collaboration with clients and sponsors.  
  • An interest and understanding of SDLC workflows and engineering best practices (and ideally with experience with tools like Backstage)
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to software architecture and design decisions

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in industry with a specific interest/specialty in SDLC and building high quality, well tested UIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
