Responsibilities:
- An exciting opportunity for a UI engineer for a UI product to be used by a large userbase.
- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks like React (and proficient with HTML5, CSS, REST APIs, JSON)
- Experience with automated UI testing with testing frameworks like Cypress.
- A keen interest in UX and UI-design.
- Ability to debug UI related issues and performance test with tools like Lighthouse.
- Excellent communication required to work in collaboration with clients and sponsors.
- An interest and understanding of SDLC workflows and engineering best practices (and ideally with experience with tools like Backstage)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
- Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to software architecture and design decisions
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experience in industry with a specific interest/specialty in SDLC and building high quality, well tested UIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
