- Workplace Experience: Encompasses end-to-end strategic real estate work from transactions to facilities. Departments include On-Site Solutions (inclusive of Facilities Management, Hospitality Operations, Document Management and Ground Transportation), Events, Client & Production Engineering, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development, and Capital Management.
- The Office of Global Security: Manages and implements arrangements for the protection of the firm’s personnel, physical security, fire safety and crisis management.
- Regional Office Leadership: Supports the firm in driving regional priorities and strategy in Dallas and Salt Lake City in partnership with local leadership.
- Chief Operating Officer (COO): Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include CWS Management, Risk and Health & Safety, and CWS Engineering - which provides enabling engineering solutions supporting real estate and facilities management, on-site solutions, safety and security and CWS data and analytics.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Real Estate Planning Associate will manage occupancy strategy, inclusive of planning and programming for new builds, restacks, expansions and contractions.
- Build and maintain relationships with business leadership to support business objectives related to headcount and space strategy
- Develop efficient space utilization options while improving business productivity and employee sentiment
- Deliver a range of analysis activities including data extraction and interpretation to provide strategic recommendations
- Determine scope for workplace project programs in coordination with project stakeholders
- Work closely with internal colleagues on high level estimates, schedule and leasing activity
- Create and contribute to client presentations that clearly articulate real estate strategy, financial analysis and scenario planning
- Facilitate planning workflow and data integrity in our project management system
- Develop and maintain planning metrics based on internal and external best practices for workplace planning
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years previous experience related to strategic workplace planning and data utilization; Architectural degree or experience a plus
- Strong financial and analytical skills with a commercial approach to workplace planning initiatives
- Exceptional communication and change management skills with ability to influence outcomes
- Innovative problem solving acumen
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across a variety of disciplines

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey, United States-based position is $85000-$140000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
