Private Wealth Management (PWM)
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
Client Engagement Team and Marketing
The Client Engagement Team is responsible for building our brand, attracting new clients and developing deeper relationships with existing clients by creating value from our client network and the broader Goldman Sachs network. We are seeking a professional to play a key role in the execution of our global client engagement strategy across the Americas.
Led by the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, helping to codify a business-critical function seen as core to the firm’s future growth. As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, and Media, as well marketing teams for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this function will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Assist in development and creation of comprehensive marketing strategy across Private Bank & Lending
- Work collaboratively across internal marketing team members and external partners, agencies and vendors to support both new and current multi-channel marketing strategies
- Work with project stakeholders across marketing, business, compliance, creative, web and analytics from project initiation through execution, including initial planning, creative briefing, implementation, monitoring optimization, analysis and reporting
- Brainstorm creative ideas to ensure we are maximizing client engagement ideas and tactics
- Use data-driven and iterative approach to further enhance and optimize marketing tactics
- Create regular reports based on test results and other ongoing initiatives to share with leadership
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Marketing team’s processes for improved collaboration and execution
- Manage invoicing, budget tracking and statement of work approval process
- Assist in development and execution of the event components of the Private Bank client engagement strategy, working, where appropriate, on a cross-divisional basis with other businesses of Goldman Sachs, as well as firmwide event management resources
- Assist with projects related to strategic planning and technology / infrastructure builds
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Marketing work experience
- Executing a distinctive program in the marketplace that helps achieve our goals
- Measured, improved and sustainable internal and external satisfaction of Private Bank & Lending marketing programs
- Positive team climate that encourages personal growth, team engagement, client focused attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States based position is $75,000 - $125,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
