INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
Internal Communications supports leadership's commitment to informing, inspiring and engaging the people of Goldman Sachs. Our key focus areas include understanding our audience; creating and distributing engaging content; providing consulting services to our divisions to help them with their messaging needs; governing the firm’s internal communications channels; and measuring our reach.
The Executive Office is a group of diverse teams that shape the firm’s corporate strategy, culture and brand. Whether managing our brand or articulating our strategy to investors and analysts, our work directly impacts how the firm is viewed by a variety of crucial stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key member of the team, based in Dallas, contributing to global and regional (Americas) team priorities for Internal Communications, including:
- Content creation, e.g., research, write and edit articles for GSWeb, the firm’s intranet, about the firm’s business, culture and people; create biographies for managing directors, highlighting their role and professional history
- Content distribution, e.g., provide support for To Alls and digital signage (e.g., playlist creation and management)
- Weekly reporting, e.g., contribute to weekly reporting efforts for the firm’s senior leaders, including the Board and Management Committee
- Consulting, e.g., help advise on, prepare and execute communications plans working in partnership with teams across the firm
- Event management, e.g., support Executive Office-sponsored events and programs to engage our people around the world
- Governance, e.g., edit, review and approve communications according to firmwide style, support and enhance key processes
- Platform management, e.g., support rollout of new functionality in conjunction with Engineering, with the goal of enhancing and modernizing our communications channels
- Measurement, e.g., ongoing monitoring of analytics, creation of metrics-driven reports
- Additional projects as they arise, e.g., support for cross-functional communications initiatives, presentations in advance of meetings with internal leaders or other stakeholders, etc.
