The Investment Grade Financing team advises corporations and governments on capital management across debt, hybrid, derivative, and equity-linked products. The group acts in concert with our traditional Investment Banking coverage effort and alongside the specific expertise of our associated product groups to execute financings. The FIG-Financing team is uniquely focused on some of the firm’s most important financial institution clients and provides advisory across their capital structure funding strategy. The team also executes financings across bonds, loans and alternative solutions.
The FIG-Financing team within the EMEA Financing Group is looking for an experienced Associate/Analyst to join their team in Frankfurt. The new joiner will play an integral role in the coverage of Financial Institutions, with a focus on the DACH region. Through extensive exposure to the firm’s businesses and clients the new joiner will develop an expansive knowledge of investment banking products and practices.
The team is looking for a motivated individual who ideally has prior experience with financing transactions in the FIG space. We will consider applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including those who have work experience in areas such as: FIG-DCM, FIG Advisory, FIG-Capital Structuring, FIG Ratings Advisory. We will also consider applicants who have related experience, such as those who worked in Rating Agencies, Law Firms, Bank Treasuries or Investment Funds.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Relevant banking or capital markets experience is strictly required, as described above.
- A keen, long-term interest in investment banking and the financial markets.
- Professional German Language skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical orientation, with experience performing financial valuation analysis in Excel or similar tools.
- Demonstrated interest in finance, companies, transactions, and financial markets.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical abilities.
