The Cross Markets Group (CMG) is an investment banking team with dedicated bankers that spans all industry sectors, including Healthcare, TMT, Industrials, Consumer Retail, Natural Resources, Real Estate and Financial Institutions. The CMG Healthcare team is focused on expanding Investment Banking’s coverage of corporate clients and sponsor portfolio companies as well as financial sponsors, and provides M&A, financing and other corporate finance solutions to those clients. Our analysts and associates gain meaningful exposure to deal execution and work with founders, sponsors and executives to deliver quality advice and execution across products. Healthcare Analysts within CMG will work with public and private clients across Healthcare Services and Healthcare Technology.
Qualifications
- Strong academic record with Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience required
- Prior experience in Healthcare preferred, but not required
- Experience with due-diligence and transaction execution processes required
- Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions required
- Strong analytical background with experience working with large and complex data sets
- Strong financial modelling skills and experience of building/maintaining operating models required
- Experience preparing and maintaining industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials and other process documents required
- Financial valuation experience required, with knowledge of DCF, LBO, merger modelling, comparable companies, precedent transactions etc.
- Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail
- Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
- Strong communication (verbal and written), multi-tasking and time management skills required
- Capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contact
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
